About Debora

Teaching Italian language is not only my profession, it is also my passion. It's a real pleasure to accompany and support the students during their learning process.
When a student enroll in one of my courses, we actually embark together on a language adventure.
One of my greatest joy is to witness my students achievements, when they pass their Italian exams with flying colors or when, step by step, their level improves from beginner to proficient or simply when they fall in love with the language and with the Italian culture. I always root for my students!
In my Italian language courses these elements are always present: reliability, support, encouragement, improvement, culture, fun and of course loads of practice so .. don't forget to do your homework!

About the lesson

I have been teaching Italian for more than 15 years and I worked in the field of Linguistics, Language and Literature Education, Translation and Interpretation.
I earned a Master's Degree in Science of Education from the University of Florence and I specialized in Didactics of Italian Language for Foreigners.
I teach Italian Language to people of all ages and all levels (from complete beginners to advanced), to Junior and Leaving certs students, in corporate settings, to students who need to sit the Italian Citizenship exam and other official exams (CELI and CILS).
The typical length of my lessons is 1 hour (but this can vary from 45 minutes to 1.5 hour depending on my students' needs).
I always make sure my classes are varied and the topics are interesting. I always include some information and fun facts about the Italian culture.
My absolute priority is to facilitate my students' progress and my biggest joy is to witness their improvements.
