About Sara

Hello,
I'm Sara, I was born in Rome in 1989, when I was 5 years old I moved with my parents in a little town called Todi in central Italy in a region called Umbria, we used to spend every summer traveling along the Tuscan and Ligurian coast to enjoy the sea side. When I was about twenty years old I moved in a valley in the Italian Alps called Ossola valley and now I'm living in the Staffordshire with my partner and with my little girl. Over here I'm working two different part time jobs in a shop and in a pub in the evenings and in the morning I work on my own projects, I have always been joggling around different occupations and one of them has been previous experience as a language tutor. I went to an Art college and I love traveling and exploring new places and realities, my favourite subjects are Art, psychology, anthropology, Business, marketing and physics. I'm a very easy going person and I love spending time in contact with nature even though just recently I'm starting to develop a stronger curiosity about big cities as well. So this is me and my background in a few words.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on natural language learning principles and it can be used on all of the learning stages. It consists in developing vocabulary through activities without getting too much into the grammar side of learning but using communication as the main learning point. Grammar will be explained when your curiosity will be ready for it.
I like you to have question as well, interaction will make your learning much easier since languages are made to communicate and there will be no communication without interaction.
It is very important that you feel motivated about learning Italian, that's why we will start with you explaining why you want to learn this language and we can work from there introducing learning activities that are adaptable to your level, your interests and your goals.
