About Gianluca

I’m Gianluca Fiorentino, a 23-year-old student born and raised in Sorrento, Italy. Growing up in such a breathtaking place, surrounded by the sea and rich history, has shaped my deep appreciation for culture, nature, and the beauty of learning. I later moved to Milan to study Finance at Bocconi University, where I’ve had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and international perspective. During my undergraduate studies, I spent an exchange semester in Hong Kong, and now, I’m excited to be in Melbourne for my master’s exchange—embracing new academic and cultural experiences. I consider myself a dedicated and curious student who always seeks to find genuine interest and meaning in what I study. This same mindset guides my approach to tutoring: I strive not only to teach but also to inspire and engage the people in front of me, making learning an exciting and rewarding journey. People often describe me as friendly and kind-hearted, and I truly believe that creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment is key to success. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach I had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious TOP (Tutoring Online Project), an innovative initiative organized by Harvard University, Bocconi University, and other institutions. As part of this experience, I provided online tutoring to an Italian middle school student, helping them improve their learning through a tailored and effective approach. Teaching Techniques & Methodology My teaching method is based on: Personalization – Every student has different needs and learning styles, so I adapt my approach accordingly. Interactivity – I use clear explanations, practical examples, and engaging discussions to make lessons stimulating. Problem-Solving – I encourage critical thinking and help students develop independent study skills. Use of Digital Tools – I incorporate interactive materials and online platforms to enhance learning. Lesson Duration A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration based on the student’s needs. Qualifications & Experience I am a student at Bocconi University with a strong academic background and a passion for sharing knowledge. Through the TOP Project, I refined my tutoring skills by working with younger students in an international and innovative setting. Who Are My Lessons For? My lessons are suitable for everyone, regardless of their starting level. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I will tailor my approach to help you improve.
