About Elwin
Through my completion of these HSC courses, I have accumulated a plethora of resources, including Past Papers, textbooks, and worksheets for each subject, though students can feel free to bring their own. This includes resources from school or other coaching centers that they might need help with, which I would be happy to provide. Lesson structure will follow the NESA syllabus, however if you need certain help in specific topics and areas, I would be happy to tailor specialized lessons to accommodate. This must be communicated beforehand, however, to allow time for me to prepare the materials.

Hi, I'm Elwin. I aim to help students understand the underlying concepts, not just solving the singular problem at hand, to equip them with the skills to confidently tackle similar questions in the future. As someone who did not start as a mathematical genius, I know how the feeling of being unable to grasp certain ideas, and have experience overcoming these barriers, which I hope to pass on to my students. I am comfortable supporting learners at all levels, whether it be catching up to fellow peers or accelerating past them, aided by my extensive knowledge of the NESA syllabus.
While I specialise in teaching higher level mathematics (Y10-12, Extension 1 & 2), I can teach at all levels below this, as well as providing private Chemistry tutoring as well for those who need it, backed by my achievements in the HSC.
