About Ivan
I am an 18 year old amateur tutor who has taught friends, one of whom went on to achieve a Japanese GCSE.
I have an A grade Japanese GCSE and am studying for a BA in this subject at Oxford University.
I have an A* grade French GCSE and A grade A-Level, and speak French in my household.
I would like to go into education as a career; whilst not currently a trained professional I am extremely passionate about languages and love to share this through teaching! I hope you are willing to give me a chance to share this with you.

I am dedicated to ensuring motivation stays high during Japanese studies, a subject that is all too easy to give up on.
I like to get to know my students through simple, language-based motivational exercises, and base my teachings on your specific interests within the language, whilst still covering the essentials needed.
My aim is to make languages fun and suited to you! Sitting in a full classroom taking standardised tests can feel extremely impersonal. Learning the basics through the elements of language and culture that are relevant to your life helps keep the drive to learn.

Online lessons can be cancelled at latest two hours before with no charge.
If you are travelling to me, the lesson must be cancelled the day before.
Upon failure to do this, I will charge £5.
