Does Java feel verbose, does Maven lose you, does Spring intimidate you? This course is for students (OOP, collections, mandatory projects, exams), developers coming from Python or JavaScript who are moving to a strongly typed language, and career changers targeting banking, insurance, and industry IT systems where Java remains dominant.
My method: you build a real application from the very first lesson; each concept (inheritance, interfaces, streams, JPA) is added to your ongoing project and tested immediately, no theoretical OOP across 30 slides. On the program: Java 17+ (full OOP, lambdas, streams, Optional), essential design patterns, collections, JDBC, then Spring Boot (REST, validation), Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Security, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, Docker.
Observed results: first object oriented application within 4 weeks, Spring Boot application with database within 10 to 12 weeks; several students landed a junior Java developer position after 12 to 14 weeks. Formats: one off, regular (10 to 14 weeks), or intensive. Basic programming knowledge recommended. First 30 minutes free: Java installed and first working class built together.
