About Nicolas

Hello to you all I have created a set of exercises Jazz improvisations on guitar, to help you get started in this style and improve. Many books and course materials are available today. Many offer a lot of useful information on the theory, harmony, chords exercises ... I've created are not intended to replace, but adopt a different approach. They focus less on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge to find the right notes for example that the conversion of notes played music! This means, for example, that: - Notes say "correct" are not always played music if you can not make them sound. In other words, if a piece is mainly DO, and you know how to play the major scale OD, this does not necessarily lead you to the solo of the century. You must know how to use a range of creative and interesting way. You'll be surprised how much you can have ring true with just a few theoretical bases! It is not enough to know any music theory and be able to play all the ranges and the right notes to build an interesting solo! My method is based on the idea that musical knowledge is useful only if you are able to hear what you play. This means that the new knowledge must be combined with your creativity. We begin with basic tools, eg, a particular range to use for your solos, learn to use musical and creative way. Then you will develop your knowledge, another range for example, or connecting a line to another. Learning how to learn and to use this material creative and musical way. The phrasing is essential to make your musical notes. If you already have the knowledge, that's great, now we have to learn to use. Be creative and music is hard to define, but I think that to get there you must be able to literally "play" with not only good grades, but also with the tempo, rhythm, dynamics, sound, phrasing and form. You may have an interest and easier for either, but remember that only the union of all these elements will make your interesting improvisation. All the exercises that I propose are made you "step by step" from beginner to advanced level. Rather than bombard you with tons of modes and arpeggios from the start lines, which will have the effect of just drown in a flood of theoretical and technical information with my method, from the beginning you will make music .The music theory will never go without play, creativity, looking for her, developing your own ideas, the goal is to make music from the start, even with very simple concepts. Concept will be digested when we move to the next class, the method will be the same music theory will always be associated to the game, with improvisation and develop your ear and your ideas. The PROGRESS contain audio files and pdf write in tablature and standard notation pieces studied, and many exercises. Do not forget to become a musician, it is essential to listen to lots of music, listen to your favorite artists, trying to understand what they do, the tones, the pieces of the structure the middle 3/4, 4/4 , 4/4 etc ... .. While playing his instrument takes work, but it's a fun and creative work, progress will allow you to continue learning with enthusiasm.
