About Winona
Progress does not come from staring at a page of sheet music for hours. It happens when you actually play the instrument. We prioritize tactile acoustic technique and chord transitions above abstract theory.
My lessons accommodate absolute beginners as well as advanced grade exam candidates. I use my degree and years of gigging to frame each task clearly. You will receive free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class. I find it deeply satisfying when a student finally nails a difficult transition.

Grabbing a guitar and gigging around Montreal for 9 years changed my entire perspective on music. I have a BA Music from McGill and teach 179 students currently. My 7 years of experience mean I know exactly where beginners usually get stuck with barre chords or power chords.
