About Darragh
I'm an Engineering student, currently going into second year Civil Engineering in UCC. I’m now offering Math grinds for Higher and Ordinary Level students.
I know how stressful Math can be, especially when preparing for exams, so my aim is to make topics easier to understand and help students build confidence step by step. I can help with classwork, homework, exam questions, past papers, and areas students may be struggling with.
I was also the Academic First Year Representative for engineering in UCC, so I’m comfortable helping others with academic issues and explaining things clearly.
I can offer grinds in person in Killarney and surrounding areas, in person in Cork City while I’m in college, or online.

I put a strong emphasis on understanding the theory behind each topic, rather than just learning off answers. Exam questions become much easier to approach. I also focus heavily on past exam papers, helping students learn how questions are asked.
A lesson lasts one hour. I achieved a H1 in my Leaving Cert. I also have experience giving grinds to my friends and helping my sister for her JC this year.
My lessons are suitable for students from 2nd year up to 6th year, including both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students. I am open to helping students of all abilities, whether they are struggling with the basics or aiming for higher grades.
