My Approach to Tutoring: I am dedicated to making Maths both accessible and engaging for every student. My approach is centred around understanding, problem-solving, and exam preparation. I aim to break down complex concepts into simpler, manageable steps, helping students build a solid foundation. I use real-life examples and interactive methods to ensure that students not only learn but also enjoy the process of mastering Maths. Teaching Methodology: I focus heavily on exam preparation and practice. I believe that regular practice with past papers and exam-style questions is essential for success in GCSE Maths. Each lesson is structured to include a thorough explanation of key concepts, followed by a series of carefully selected exercises that help reinforce these ideas. I ensure that students have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned, which builds both their understanding and confidence. Additionally, I provide continuous feedback throughout each session, identifying areas where students need extra support and tracking their progress. I use this feedback to adapt each lesson to suit the students' needs, ensuring they stay on track and feel prepared for their exams. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, which I find to be the optimal time to cover important material while also giving students the opportunity to ask questions and practise key skills. However, I am flexible and can extend lessons if a particular topic requires more time for thorough understanding. Qualifications & Experience: I am currently a student at King’s College London, with a strong academic background in Mathematics from my studies. I have 1 year of tutoring experience helping students with GCSE Maths. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a deeper understanding of the subject, giving them the tools they need to succeed both in exams and beyond.
