About Ruhann

I am a qualified ESL (English Second Language) instructor with more than 6 years' experience in teaching languages and I have a degree in Modern European Languages (Majors: French and Spanish). I also have an ESL Certificate from the University of Cambridge and through my own studies of foreign languages, I can relate to the difficulties and I have learned how to work around them.

My work experience include: preparing non-English speaking students for entry into academic institutions, working with corporate clients based all over the world - from Japan to Europe - to improve their English in the workplace; and more recently, teaching Canadian public servants in preparation for their language proficiciency exams to move up the corporate ladder.

About the lesson

I base my classes completely on my students' needs. It is a strong belief with me that a student should be able to walk away from every class with something that they can apply and implement immediately in their day-to-day lives where they use English.
