About Rory
I am a Multilingual Spanish and Italian graduate from the University of Hull, I achieved a 2:1 in my degree with Oral Distinction. I have lived and worked abroad and taken part in a TEFL course and I am currently applying to do a PGCE in Secondary school Spanish. I also have good knowledge of Spanish and Italian literature which is included in many A-Level specifications.

My teaching method is engaging and interesting. Task-based learning, a refinement of the communicative approach, focuses on the completion of specific tasks through which language is taught and learned. This includes a close following of the specification desired whilst maintaining flexibility and competence in extracurricular tasks which are more applicable to real-life situations.

I’ve known Rory for many years, he is an extremely talented linguist and very passionate about teaching others. He has had lots of experience speaking Spanish as he lived in Spain for a year and studied it at University. As well as having this knowledge and experience, he is patient, understanding and a great listener.
