About Sara

I began private tutoring while I was still living in Poland, my home country. Since 2011 I have been living, studying, teaching languages, and working in international companies in various countries such as Italy, Germany, and the UK. Throughout my stays abroad, I gained insight into other cultures, learning environments, and international markets. These experiences have allowed me to continuously improve my language material and deliver it in an unique way - by combining conversation and grammar in the context of the target language’s customs and traditions.

In 2015 I graduated from the University of Padua in Italy with a BA in Modern Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures (Italian, Spanish, German, English). During my studies I worked in the hospitality sector, helped in an animal shelter, and participated in cultural and sporting events which allowed me to fully experience my passion for languages.

In 2018 I conducted my masters project in Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, focusing on cross linguistic investigation in three foreign languages. While studying, I was working in the Global Language Management department of an automotive company supporting the Translation Marketing & Sales team in cross-functional and international topics.

After my master’s degree I continued to work full-time in the automotive sector in Stuttgart supporting finance and change management projects. As a certified intercultural coach, I was also responsible for personal development of my colleagues as well as preparation and moderation of different workshops. In addition to my full-time work, I also taught languages at an adult learning school in the evenings to continue my passion for passing on my knowledge to others. I have since moved to the UK in January 2020 and started to work as a language teacher at an international language centre in Oxford.

I am here to help you to achieve your goals – I personalise the class material in order to match students’ requirements and necessities, such as:

- school homework and exams
- certificates, e.g. CILS (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera), TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache)
- relocation and business related topics, e.g. interviews, business expressions
- intercultural coach training
- or just for fun!

Language can be expressed in many ways. We will work together to find your ideal way of learning, and I will help you acquire the ability to communicate the real you in the target language. I always encourage my students to speak freely and to learn from mistakes, and aim to improve vocabulary and grammar in a context that will be immediately useful to you. That’s right, learning grammar will be interesting, vibrant, and enjoyable!

I will motivate you through various learning approaches and teaching methods, as well as give you space to explore your creativity and curiosities.
