About Lily

I am a recent high school graduate currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Arts at the University of Sydney. Having completed the HSC not long ago myself, I understand both the academic and personal challenges that come with senior school and the pressure students often face when working towards their goals.

I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping students build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed. I believe that every student is capable of achieving strong results when given the right support and guidance, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help students recognize their potential and work towards their aspirations beyond school.

This is why my goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves. Whether a student is striving for top marks, looking to improve their understanding of course content, or wanting to feel more confident going into assessments and exams, I am committed to helping them achieve their individual goals and develop skills that will help students grow to achieve their fullest potential.

About the lesson

Tutoring sessions are delivered online in one-hour lessons. My tutoring sessions are designed to be flexible, supportive, and tailored to meet each student's individual needs. Having recently completed the HSC myself, I understand the challenges of balancing content-heavy subjects, assessment tasks, and exam preparation, and I aim to provide the guidance and strategies that I found most effective throughout my own studies.

Students will have access to my personal notes, summaries, study resources, and sample responses, as well as a range of practice questions. Lessons can focus on whatever a student needs most, whether that's understanding difficult content, improving essay-writing skills, preparing for assessments, or building confidence leading up to exams.

A large part of my tutoring focuses on helping students develop stronger analytical and writing skills. Together, we'll break down course content, discuss key concepts, work through practice responses, and learn how to structure answers in a way that meets marking criteria and maximises marks. I also provide detailed and constructive feedback on practice responses, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement so students can continue to grow with each piece of work.
