About Leana

Hi! My name is Leana and I've been tutoring for over seven years.
As a child, having a tutor myself helped me understand and learn a lot about different teaching styles that make students feel good and perform better. As a tutor, I personalize my approach to each student according to their needs. Need me to be a little more strict so you don't steer away from the lesson? Done. Need me to give you tips and tricks to remember how to get the right answer? Done. Need me to teach you in different languages at once so you better understand the material? Also done. I am here for you and to see you succeed!

About the lesson

Hiring me as your child's tutor will ensure a personalized approach tending to their needs. I do not believe in a "one sized fits all" approach. Ever child is different and unique in their learning styles. Over the years I have perfected my approach of a "big sister" which will put your child at ease, compared to having an older teacher in a formal setting. I help them by boosting their confidence to find the answers on their own and putting the emphasis on not giving any answers away. Your child will become more independent and more self assured when learning with me!
