About Seiah

Hello! 안녕하세요 (ahn-nyeong-ha-seh-yo)!

I am a Korean Canadian musician living in Bristol. As a language enthusiast and globetrotter, I understand the excitement and struggles of learning a new language. I am fluent in Korean and English, speak conversational French, and currently learning Portuguese and Cantonese myself. I also have two years of language tutoring experience.

I want to help my students expand their practical Korean skills and immerse themselves in the language and culture, rather than to scare them away with rigid, rule-based traditional method of learning. Let me help you start speaking Korean more effectively and enjoyably!

About the lesson

Whether you are learning Korean for the first time or feeling stuck after learning Korean for a while, my goal is to help you feel confident and enjoy speaking the language.

I can help you:
- get started with the basics of Korean
- practice speaking/listening/reading/writing
- improve your conversational skills
- navigate your next steps with customized lesson materials
- explore and understand Korean culture

During our first lesson, you can expect me to assess your Korean level, discover your needs and goals, introduce my lesson materials/style, and get excited to start learning together!

Met Seiah 2 years ago. At first I knew nothing about Korean. She taught me Korean from the very beginning. Not only the boring alphabet, she also taught me daily Korean usage like how to greet, how you buy stuffs in the market, etc. Still learning from her and I highly recommend.
