About Luke
My name is Luke Anderson. I do freelance comic illustration full time. I have published several stories internationally and you can find my paintings in businesses around the city. I come from a family of teachers and certainly inherited that want to share what I’ve learned. If you’re interested in comics and or manga, then trust me you’re in good hands.

Hello there. Got a story burning inside you, or just want to sharpen your skills. No matter the reason I got you!
The most important thing I want to communicate that drawing should be fun, not stressful. I want you to make something you’re proud of, and learn lots along the way.
We will be breaking down anatomy and figures into manageable chunks. So no more looking at confusing anatomy books and drawing stiff poses. We will learn to draw from reference, but also how to draw from imagination turning think into ink! We will learn perspective and composition, with a focus on making your backgrounds and worlds just as fun and alive as the characters that live in them. And of course we will be delving into the storytelling aspects and visual language involved in comic illustration.
These lessons have one major requirement however… do you love to draw? Because if you have the drive to create and tell amazing stories, then I can help you make that dream come true.
