About Augusto
Augusto Barranco is an accomplished design professional and educator with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to contribute to some of Hollywood’s most prominent film and animation projects.
His work spans both animation and live-action, with design credits including Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and numerous Superman and Batman projects, as well as recent live-action productions such as The Odyssey.
Following recognition from the Art Directors Guild, Augusto turned his attention toward giving back to the creative community and helping shape the next generation of artists and designers. He has taught at Los Angeles City College and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), sharing his industry experience and mentoring emerging creative talent.
