About Negar

I’m Negar Tahami, an artist and creative instructor based in Vancouver with ten years of teaching experience. I’ve taught children and adults in kindergartens, art workshops, studios and festivals. Working with different ages and abilities has taught me how to make each lesson approachable, engaging and suited to the learner. My teaching style is patient and practical, with clear guidance and encouragement to explore your own ideas. I love helping students build confidence and discover the joy of creating something with their own hands.

About the lesson

Learn to turn polymer, air-dry and foam clay into pieces you’ll love to use, display or give as gifts. My lessons welcome kids, teens and adults, with projects tailored to your age, interests and skill level. Children can explore playful characters and miniatures, while adults can create decorative and practical pieces for the home, such as jewellery dishes, incense holders and small organisers. I guide you step by step, with room to experiment and make each piece your own. No previous experience is needed.
