About Tanya
I recently returned to Canada after 20 years of living and working abroad, including in Australia, the UK and Germany. My career in the travel industry also took me around the world, where I came to appreciate the value of clear, coherent communication, both spoken and written, across different cultures.
I studied Professional Writing and Editing at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, focusing on manuscript editing, creative nonfiction, essay writing and publishing for both print and digital media.
I went on to build an international career in marketing, advertising and digital communications, working across social media, content creation and publishing for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Ritter Sport and Lufthansa. Over the years, I’ve written and produced content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, print and digital publications, podcasts, YouTube and social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn.
Today, I run my own international psychosomatic consulting business, working entirely online with creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs and ambitious individuals around the world. I’ve built my business, brand, website and digital presence from the ground up, without outside funding. I continue to write articles and essays for online publications, produce podcasts and develop content for my business.
I’ve worked with language and digital media for most of my professional life, and I’ve seen just how much the landscape has changed.
With AI now part of everyday life, I think it’s becoming harder for people to develop and maintain their own voice. These tools are incredibly useful, and I use them myself, but they shouldn’t replace our ability to think, write and communicate for ourselves.
Whether you’re building a business, developing a brand or working on something creative, I’d love to help you find your own voice in whatever you’re producing. Because ultimately, it’s your voice that people will connect with.
I don’t believe good writing means editing or sanitizing away everything that makes you you. It’s about learning to express yourself clearly and effectively while keeping your individuality.

Sessions are interactive and hands-on. We can work directly with your existing projects, develop new ideas, review and edit your writing, or explore different approaches to communicating your message.
Whether you’re developing a business, building a personal brand, writing website copy, creating content or learning how to communicate more effectively, our sessions focus on what’s relevant to you right now.
I welcome entrepreneurs, small-business owners, freelancers, professionals, university students and aspiring creators who want to develop their writing, spoken communication and creative skills.
Depending on your interests, we might explore:
* Creative copywriting: Writing website content, articles, blogs, newsletters and marketing materials.
* Branding and storytelling: Developing your brand identity, messaging and finding your own voice.
* Digital communication: Creating content for social media, podcasts, YouTube and other digital platforms.
* AI-assisted writing: Learning to use AI without losing your own ideas, writing style or ability to think independently.
* Professional communication: Developing presentations, persuasive arguments, public speaking skills and clear written communication.
* Creative writing and editing: Strengthening your writing, refining your ideas and developing your confidence as a writer.
My approach is collaborative and led by you. You bring whatever you’re working on, whether that’s a half-written article, a business idea, a website that needs work or something you’re struggling to put into words. We look at it together and figure out what needs attention.
I’ll offer feedback, ask questions, challenge your thinking when needed and share what I’ve learned from my own experience.
