About Sarah Salama
Bonjour! French is my first language, and I currently work in education in Metro Vancouver. I enjoy helping both children and adults develop their French skills in a patient, positive, and encouraging environment.
Whether you are a parent looking for extra support for your child or an adult working toward a personal or professional goal, I would be happy to support you on your French-learning journey.
Online, Zoom $40/h and in person at a Surrey Library $50/h (booking and travel)

My lessons are personalized, practical, and adapted to your individual goals and level. As a native French speaker who works in education, I understand that everyone learns differently.
For children, I provide a supportive environment where they can strengthen reading, vocabulary, comprehension, homework skills, and confidence in French.
For adults, lessons can focus on relaxed, everyday conversation to help you become more comfortable speaking French, or targeted preparation for TEF/TCF Canada.
I believe learning French should be encouraging, not intimidating. We’ll work at your pace, identify the areas where you need the most support, and build your skills and confidence step by step.
Whether your goal is better grades, more confident conversations, or preparing for an exam, my goal is to help you make meaningful progress in French.
