About Remy

I am a Mexican visual artist with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Over the past 10 years, I have worked on various mural projects, commissioned easel works, and personal projects, focusing on figurative painting and realism. I have participated in numerous exhibitions in different cities and, from 2018 to 2020, I was part of the oil painting team for a renowned international artist based in Mexico City. About the lesson

In painting, I enjoy using and teaching the Renaissance glazing technique, as practiced by Leonardo da Vinci. Regardless of a student’s skill level, this technique allows for the creation of realistic and highly naturalistic artwork. The most effective way to learn this technique is by reproducing works from great masters like da Vinci, Botticelli, Raphael, and Michelangelo. However, we can also adapt the approach to align with a student's specific ideas or themes. Once you have understood and mastered this technique, you will be able to explore new artistic methods independently.
