About Kris

Ciao! I'm Kris. I grew up in Rimini, on the Adriatic coast, and I've been teaching Italian for 4 years: first professionally in Moscow, then to students in London and Bratislava, and now online.

I speak 4 languages (Italian, English, Russian and French), so I know how it feels to learn a language as an adult and what really helps.

I have a master's degree in urban planning focused on circular materials. Today I live as a digital nomad between Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil and Australia. I love food, sport, travel and Italian culture, so our lessons will never be boring!

About the lesson

My lessons are built around talking. From the very first class you'll be speaking Italian, because that's how you actually become fluent.

Here's how it works:

1. In our first lesson we chat about your goals: travel, moving to Italy, work, family, or just loving the language.
2. I build each lesson around you, with real-life situations like ordering at a bar, making friends, or handling a meeting. We can gossip, talk life, read articles, listen to podcasts together. You name it.
3. I correct you gently, on a document we collaborate on together during calls, and give you the natural expressions Italians really use, the ones you won't find in textbooks.

Grammar is part of it, but always in context, never boring tables. Beginners welcome, and advanced students can work on fluency, accent and culture.
