About Yashika
Hello! I am a certified Kathak dancer with 2 years of formal training and currently pursuing my 3rd year. Along with my job, I have been teaching Kathak offline for 1 year, where I guided students of different age groups to understand rhythm, expressions, and grace. Kathak is not just a dance form for me—it is a way to connect with tradition, discipline, and creativity. My aim is to help learners not only master technical skills but also enjoy the art of storytelling through dance.

My classes are designed to make learning Kathak simple, enjoyable, and structured.
For beginners, I start with basic steps, tatkaar (footwork), hand movements, and rhythm exercises.
As students progress, I introduce tukdas, todas, parans, tihai, and small choreographies.
Special focus on expressions (abhinaya) to bring grace and storytelling into dance.
Every class includes warm-up, practice, new learning, and revision.
I keep the environment friendly, patient, and motivating, so students feel confident and inspired.
I adjust the pace according to each student’s level.

Hourly Rate: ₹500 per hour (both online & offline)
Offline Classes: Students are welcome to attend classes at my place (no extra charges).
Online Classes: Conducted via Zoom/Google Meet (same fee).
First Class: Free demo session.
Professional Degree Track:
For students who wish to pursue Kathak as a professional degree/diploma, regular classes throughout the year are required to complete the full syllabus. I will guide students step by step and ensure they are well-prepared for exams and certifications.
