About Dany

My degree is from Royal University of Phnom Penh and my teaching diploma is from the National Institute of Education. Additionally, I have completed the teaching methodology training from Teach for Cambodia, where I worked for 3 years. Since graduating, I have also been awarded a number of bursaries for any Ed-tech start-up, which creates language teaching materials for children learning Khmer language.

About the lesson

Are you interested in learning more than just the language? My background is in Khmer literature and so I teach both the details of the language, and also the context and history behind what you are learning. This helps the words stick and provides you with interesting anecdotes and context. Additionally, I provide substantial source materials and video learning aids, which help you learn through listening and reading subtitles. I have worked and continue to work with specific clients who have advanced needs, either in business language or formal Khmer. While others I tailor more informal learning to their needs; whether social interaction or for being able to better communicate at work. Finally, I prepare you an individual course syllabus which will both guide you through the learning process and helps us optimally manage your and my time.
