About Bella

I became a tutor because I want to help you learn Korean in a way that is exciting and stress-free. By using K-pop lyrics and the music you already love, I make complex grammar and pronunciation feel natural and fun. My goal is to move beyond boring textbooks and share the vibrant heart of Korean culture with you, ensuring that every lesson is something you truly look forward to.

About the lesson

I believe that learning a language should be as enjoyable as listening to your favorite song. Instead of relying solely on repetitive textbooks, I offer an immersion-based approach for students who are passionate about K-pop and Korean culture. As an Applied Music (Vocals) graduate from Hanyang University, I will use my professional musical background to help you master Korean phonetics, perfect your pronunciation, and understand the deep emotional nuances of the language through song lyrics. Whether you want to sing along or simply analyze the text, our 60-minute lessons will be tailored to your interests.

My teaching is backed by professional experience in the heart of the Korean music industry. I have performed as a chorus member on major television programs like KBS’s "Immortal Songs" and "Open Concert," and participated in large-scale performances at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and the Olympic Gymnastics Arena alongside renowned artists such as Park Jae-jung and Lee Chan-won. In addition to my performance career, I served as a music teacher at the Gwangyang Bonggang 'I-Sarang' Village School in 2025, where I honed my ability to make complex topics accessible and engaging for students.

Whether you are a total beginner who needs to learn the alphabet (Hangul) or an advanced learner who wants to dive into K-pop songs and cultural context, I match my lessons to your specific level and goals. If you love history, we will explore the fascinating stories behind the language; if you love music, we will use the latest hits to build your vocabulary.
