About GAEUL

Hi everyone! I'm Gaeul, a Korean tutor currently living in France. I graduated from an art university. Since 2022, I’ve been teaching Korean to students from various backgrounds. I always try to create fun and effective lessons tailored to each student’s learning goals and motivations. To provide deeper and more professional lessons, I’ve been studying Korean language education at Cyber Sejong University for the past two years. I hope to continue growing alongside my students and to be a teacher they can truly trust.

About the lesson

I can tutor learners of all levels—from beginners who just became interested in Korean to advanced students preparing for studying abroad or taking language exams. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges that come with it, and I find great joy in helping students overcome them. I offer lessons both in English and French, so I can explain things in your preferred language when needed. "Why do you want to learn Korean? What are you interested in about Korea?" These are the first questions I always ask my students in our first lesson. Based on your answers, I’ll design lessons that match your interests and goals. If you're a beginner, we’ll start by learning the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and practicing simple sentences like greetings and introducing yourself. If you're at an intermediate or advanced level, we’ll begin by having a conversation so I can understand your current level and the type of lessons you’ve had before. Together, we’ll decide the right level and direction for your future classes. If you’re learning Korean for a specific reason—such as studying abroad, preparing for a Korean language exam, work, or travel—I’ll listen to your goals and timeline and tailor the lessons to fit your needs. :)
