About Eugene

Hi! I'm a native Korean speaker from South Korea, currently living in Australia on a working holiday!
I'm studying Political Science at Korea University, one of South Korea's leading universities. I also ranked in the top 1% nationwide on South Korea's College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
I have two years of experience working as a teaching assistant at a Korean Language Center, as well as experience privately tutoring three students in Korean language arts and English.
Through these experiences, I've learned that everyone has their own way of learning, and I believe patience, encouragement, and personalized guidance make a real difference.
I'm a friendly, positive, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and grow. In my free time, I love listening to music, learning new languages, and going for runs!
Although I take teaching seriously, I believe learning a language should be fun and enjoyable. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practicing Korean without pressure.
My goal is to make learning Korean feel less like studying in a classroom and more like learning with a friend.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you on your Korean learning journey!

About the lesson

Hi!
My lessons are designed to help you learn Korean in a fun, comfortable, and structured way!
Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some Korean knowledge, I'll tailor each lesson to your level, goals, and interests.
I focus on everyday conversations, useful vocabulary, and grammar to help you speak Korean more naturally and confidently.
I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, so I always aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but I'm happy to be flexible depending on your needs.
Both online and face-to-face lessons are available!
