About Min Ji

Hello! I’m a native Korean speaker who is also bilingual in English, having lived in English-speaking countries for a large part of my life. Because of this, I understand both the challenges and rewarding moments that come with learning a new language, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in Korean in a supportive and comfortable environment.

I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and tailoring lessons to each student’s interests and goals. Whether you are learning Korean for travel, work, culture, or everyday conversation, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, practical, and encouraging so that students can improve naturally while having fun learning the language.

About the lesson

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and interests to make learning engaging and practical. Lessons are conducted face-to-face on Zoom, where I introduce new vocabulary and grammar through topics that are relevant and enjoyable for the student. I speak in clear, easy Korean during lessons to help students naturally absorb and consolidate what they learn while building listening and speaking confidence.

After each lesson, I provide Anki or Quizlet-style flashcards so students can review vocabulary and grammar effectively between classes. I strongly encourage active recall and spaced repetition techniques, which help students retain what they learn long term and progress more efficiently. My lessons are supportive, interactive, and focused on helping students use Korean confidently in real conversations.
