About Yejin
Hi! I’m a native Korean speaker from South Korea, currently living in Vancouver. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from South Korea, and I moved to Canada to start a new chapter of my life. I’m currently working as a dental assistant in Vancouver.
Living in Canada has been a meaningful journey for me. I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from many different cultures, build new connections, and realize how rewarding it is to share my Korean language and culture with others.
I would describe myself as a positive, energetic, compassionate, and patient person. I enjoy listening to people’s stories, connecting with others, and creating a comfortable atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
I’m excited to share Korean language and culture with you, and I hope we can have a fun and memorable learning experience together!

Hi! I believe learning a new language should be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Since speaking a new language can feel challenging at first, I create a relaxed and friendly environment where you can practice Korean without worrying about making mistakes.
I believe learning a language is not just about memorizing words—it’s about connecting with people, building confidence, and enjoying the process.
Whether you’re learning Korean for travel, work, K-dramas, K-pop, or simply because you’re interested in Korean language and culture, I’ll tailor each lesson to your level and goals.
My lessons focus on everyday Korean that native speakers actually use. From the first lesson, you’ll practice natural conversations while improving your pronunciation, vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence.
Beginners are always welcome! I offer in-person lessons in Vancouver at a café, library, or another convenient public location. I’d love to help you enjoy learning Korean and become more confident step by step.
