About Dave
Personally, I started skating at the age of 10. I have travelled and competed in Europe and America for many years before settling down in London about 10 years ago. I also have been teaching skateboarding to both groups and individuals for years. Now taking more of a backseat, I'm excited to offer my experiences to help others find the joy of riding the concrete waves of London.

I approach skateboarding more like a martial art. Learning the right technique is key to master the basics, but the right mentality goes a long way. In a one hour lesson you can expect a 10 minute warm up, that includes stretching. After that we go straight into skating for 50 minutes. Depending on your skill level, we start from how to stand on the board, all the way to doing flip tricks, grinds, slides, grabs and more. Learning to cruise around town on a sunny day is just as much fun as learning some more difficult tricks down stairs or on ramps and obstacles. It's up to you! After each skate lesson we do an extra 5 minutes stretching and 5 minutes reflecting on your progress. No matter what background you're from, I believe in a positive attitude when giving lessons and lots of patience.
