About Salima

¡Hola! I'm Salima, a multilingual Spanish tutor with an academic background in languages, firsthand experience of Spanish culture, and extensive teaching experience.

**What makes my background unique?**

I spent six years living in Spain, including several years attending Spanish schools. This immersion allowed me to develop a strong command of the language and a genuine understanding of Spanish culture, everyday expressions, and natural communication.

My passion for languages led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA),alongside a DEUG in Foreign Languages, Literatures and Civilizations (LLCER).

I also returned to Spain to complete my final-year teaching internship in Seville, where I gained valuable classroom experience and deepened my understanding of Andalusian culture.

Languages are not just something I've studied — they're part of my everyday professional life.

I work in an international environment, communicating with people from different countries and linguistic backgrounds. As a multilingual professional, I understand both the challenges of learning a foreign language and the importance of being able to use it confidently in real-life situations.

**My teaching philosophy**

Drawing on my extensive teaching experience, I believe that effective language learning goes beyond memorising grammar rules and vocabulary.

My approach focuses on helping students develop practical communication skills, improve their fluency, and feel confident speaking Spanish.

I adapt my teaching to each student's level, learning style, and personal or professional goals, creating a supportive environment where progress feels natural and achievable.

Whether you're learning Spanish for work, travel, personal development, or simply because you love the language, I'm here to help you take your skills to the next level.

Let's turn your Spanish learning goals into real progress.

¡Hasta pronto!

About the lesson

Speak Spanish with Confidence – Personalised, Interactive & Practical Lessons

Learning Spanish is more than acquiring a new language — it's an opportunity to connect with people, explore new cultures, and open doors to international career opportunities.

My goal is to help you develop the confidence and skills to communicate naturally and effectively in Spanish, whether for professional, academic, or personal purposes.

-> A personalised approach tailored to your goals
Every student is unique, which is why I believe in adapting my teaching methods to your individual needs, level, and learning style.

During our first session, we'll assess your current level, discuss your motivations, and identify the areas you'd like to improve. Together, we'll establish a clear learning plan that reflects your goals and helps you make meaningful progress.

->Practical, engaging, and interactive lessons
I believe the most effective way to learn a language is through active practice and real-life communication.

My lessons combine:
- Speaking and conversation: Build fluency, confidence, and spontaneity through engaging discussions.
- Pronunciation: Improve your clarity and develop a more natural way of speaking.
- Listening comprehension: Understand spoken Spanish in everyday and professional situations.
- Vocabulary and expressions: Learn practical language you can confidently use in real conversations.
- Culture and communication: Discover authentic Spanish expressions and cultural nuances.
- Grammar in context: Understand and apply essential grammar naturally, without unnecessary complexity.

Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps, an intermediate learner looking to improve your fluency, or a professional seeking to communicate more effectively in Spanish, each lesson is designed around your objectives.

My priority is not simply to teach you Spanish, but to help you feel comfortable and confident using it in real life.

Ready to take your Spanish to the next level?

Book your first lesson, and let's start making progress together!

¡Hasta pronto!

J’ai rencontré Salima à la fac, c’est une jeune fille sérieuse, de confiance, adorable et souriante, toujours à l’écoute et prête à aider les autres étudiants en difficultés.
Elle a une licence LEA avec espagnol LV2 et a vécu quelques temps en Espagne. Elle a donc de sérieuses bases solides pour vous apprendre cette langue.
