About Michelle
My name is Michelle, I am passionate about languages and am experienced tutoring students from around the world both in-person and online. I am originally from Mexico, but was raised living in different countries (Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Brazil, USA, and Switzerland) and have traveled to 80+ countries. Spanish is my mother tongue (bilingual native English speaker) and full proficiency in Portuguese. I have studied French, German, and currently Te Reo. As a result, I understand the challenges and joys of learning a new language and provide an empathetic and encouraging approach to instill students with confidence. Qualifications: B.A. in International Relations & Master's in Sustainable Business. I am TESOL-certified in English.

My approach to teaching a new language is working with each student to create a tailored programme that matches their unique learning style and goals.
We will work together to build a strong foundation, instill confidence, and use a mix of learning tools to keep lessons fun and prepare students to use their language in a real-world setting.
As we progress through the lessons at your pace, I will support students in navigating conversations, correct pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and listening.
