About the lesson
My approach includes taking a comprehensive look at the stress management and coping skills you have currently, what you have tried in the past, and what has or hasn’t worked. We’ll begin by discussing what you hope to get out of our time together, and then identify specific areas you wish to target for improvement - we’ll use these areas as a framework to co-create appropriate goals to work towards together.
Some examples of targeted stress management areas you might like to focus on include: mindfulness guided meditation, learning to cope with anxiety, adjusting to a life transition, identifying your emotions and how to manage them, building resilience, decreasing harmful coping habits, etc. If you’re not quite sure, we can identify these together. :)
I am very mindful of your personal situation, so we may briefly discuss a little about that to help me fully understand how to best work with you to attain the goals we have defined. That being said, please note that I do not provide personal therapeutic counselling as a part of this lesson.
I’m eclectic and flexible in my approach, and that’s because I love to collaborate with my students - to help you learn to manage your stress in the way that feels right for you!
