About Fatima Ayessa
Hi! I’m Fatima Ayessa, a friendly, patient, and dedicated Tagalog tutor. I am a graduate of Practical Nursing and have experience working as a dental assistant and pharmacy assistant, which has helped me develop strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
I enjoy meeting and helping people, and I always aim to create a comfortable and welcoming learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel relaxed, supported, and confident.
Outside of teaching, I love singing, which is one of my favorite hobbies. I’m excited to share my knowledge of Tagalog and help students improve their communication skills through practical and enjoyable lessons.

My approach as a tutor
Hi! I’m Fatima Ayessa, and I’m passionate about helping students learn Tagalog in a comfortable, practical, and enjoyable way.
My teaching method and techniques
My lessons focus on real-life communication rather than simply memorizing words and grammar rules. I use conversations, vocabulary exercises, examples, and practical situations to help students understand and confidently use Tagalog.
I adapt my teaching style to each student's level, goals, and learning pace. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes because that is an important part of learning a new language.
A typical lesson
A lesson may include:
A short review of what we learned previously
Introduction to new vocabulary and useful expressions
Grammar explained in a simple and easy-to-understand way
Conversation and speaking practice
Exercises based on everyday situations
A short review at the end of the lesson
Lessons can also be adjusted depending on whether you want to focus more on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, or everyday conversation.

I aim to make every lesson friendly, patient, and personalized. Rather than using exactly the same approach for everyone, I adjust my lessons to suit the student's needs and interests.
