About Shruthy Shankari
As both a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and a trained architect, I bring a uniquely powerful combination of skills to the digital classroom. My architectural background allows me to teach website design through the lens of structural planning, spatial balance, and user experience. Meanwhile, my RECE training ensures that my teaching methods are perfectly aligned with child development principles, focusing on patience, engagement, and positive reinforcement. My interactive online lessons are fully project-based, allowing students aged 10 to 15 to learn web design by building an actual website from scratch. We use Weebly’s visual, drag-and-drop platform, which removes the frustration of complex coding and lets young creators see their ideas come to life immediately. Every session is tailored directly to the student’s unique personal interests, whether they want to showcase an art portfolio, start a hobby blog, or design a gaming fan site. Beyond structural layout and aesthetics, I prioritize internet safety, teaching kids how to select high-quality, copyright-free media and safely share their work online.
