About Callum

I’ve studied German for the past seven years, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding learning experiences. Being a once monolingual speaker, learning German has greatly improved my understanding of foreign languages, which has in turn helped me to understand the English language better. The cultural experiences you can learn through engaging with the German language are also second-to-none. I would love to share my passion for the German language with other passionate students - an experience which transcends simply learning grammar and vocabulary, but allows for cultural appreciation as well.

About the lesson

Throughout my lessons, I will aim to teach German in a fun and engaging way. I will teach using a scenario-based methodology, integrating the necessary vocabulary and grammatical structures as they show up, but still learning something interesting and useful in each lesson. I will also aim to speak as much German as possible to improve listening comprehension, as well as introduce students to great resources to continue improving outside of the lesson.
