About Maria

I firmly that EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE (the impossible just take longer). Well, with the right guidance, good motivation and a bit of strong will power.

I'm friendly, professional (QTS), hardworking and reliable tutor who does not mind to explain over and over again until everything is understood properly. We all learn in different ways, so adaptability is a must. I believe my “I can do it” attitude positively inspires my students.

I try to identify my students’ strength and weak points and work accordingly. Communication, respect and motivation are important in the process of learning.

For me, teaching is a reciprocal process: we both learn from each other. I have to find how to motivate my students (every case is different) and they have to develop some knowledge and skills with my help. For this reason, I tailor my lessons according to the individual interests, need and personality of every student. I try to vary my technique and involve students in order to make the process more enjoyable. I have students who have started with me from the very beginning and after very carefully chosen planning and lots of studies they are fluent in Spanish, French or they already take amazing pictures.

I have lived and worked in four countries and I have students from 27 countries aged 4 to 75.I have being preparing students for exams, GCSE, A level, University students and providing general tuition for adults and teenagers.

I like meeting new people, outdoors, travelling, healthy food, yoga, good books, belly dancing, Visual arts and yes, I like studying .
