About Rochelle

Hello there! I'm Rochelle, a dedicated former early years teacher and primary learning support assistant. I have been proudly home-educating my two wonderful children for the past 2 years. With hands-on experience in primary classroom settings, face to face tutoring and one-to-one SEN support, I've specialised in teaching Maths and English to KS1 and KS2 students and helped them overcome challenges, showing that learning can be fun and enjoyable.

Over the past 18 years my passion for teaching children has never left me. I left the education sector to focus solely on motherhood but with teaching still a major passion of mine, it has been an honour watching my own children thrive through tailored, patient guidance during our home education journey and this is what inspired me to extend that to others.

I believe every child learns at their own pace. I'm committed to creating a supportive environment where they can build skills, confidence, and curiosity. Whether it's mastering phonics or tackling times tables, I love turning 'I can't' into 'I did it!' Let's chat about how I can help your child reach thier full potential.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed with a nurturing, personalised touch, drawing from my background as a learning support assistant, face-face tutor and now, home-educating mum of two. Specialising in Maths and English for KS1 and KS2 (National Curriculum) I focus on one-to-one sessions tailored to each child's unique needs, including those with SEN. Using fun, interactive methods like games, real-life examples, and adaptive resources, I build confidence, foster a love for learning, and track progress with gentle encouragement. Whether tackling phonics, basic arithmetic, or comprehension, my goal is to make every session supportive and effective, helping students thrive at their own pace.
