I recently completed the Leaving Cert and am currently awaiting my results, with predicted H1/H2 grades in the subjects I teach. I offer one-to-one grinds focused on exam technique, past papers, and building confidence.
My goal is to make studying as simple, organized, and stress-free as possible. Having recently completed the Leaving Cert myself, I understand how overwhelming the course can feel and know the techniques that helped me learn efficiently.

Each student will receive clear, concise, easy-to-understand notes that break down complex topics into manageable sections. Rather than overwhelming students with unnecessary information, I focus on the key concepts, definitions, diagrams, and exam techniques needed to achieve top grades.

Lessons are tailored to each student's learning style and pace. We will work through difficult topics step by step, ensuring they fully understand the material before moving on. I also place a strong emphasis on active learning through exam questions, past papers, and marking scheme analysis so students know exactly what examiners are looking for.

Throughout our sessions, I will:

Create simplified, high-quality revision notes.
Explain difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
Teach effective study and revision techniques.
Practice past exam questions and improve exam timing.
Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance.
Build confidence alongside subject knowledge.

My aim is not just to help students memorize information, but to ensure they genuinely understand the course and feel confident walking into their exams.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a recent Leaving Cert student with a genuine passion for learning and helping others succeed. Having just completed the Leaving Cert myself, I understand exactly how challenging and stressful it can be. I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed by the amount of content, which is why I want to help students study in a way that is clear, effective, and confidence-building.

During my own Leaving Cert journey, I often wished I had someone to guide me through the topics I found most challenging. Whether it was learning how to draw and understand complex Biology diagrams, such as the nephron, or completing my Home Economics project, having someone to explain concepts clearly and provide reassurance would have made a huge difference.

These experiences inspired me to become a tutor. I want to be the kind of support I once needed—someone who simplifies difficult topics, answers questions without judgment, and helps students build both their understanding and confidence. I know firsthand how valuable the right guidance can be, and I would love the opportunity to help students achieve their goals while making the Leaving Cert feel less overwhelming.
