About Canberk

I am a third year student at the conservatory and İstanbul Kadıköy Fine Arts Center. My teacher is Serdar Ertürk, who is a saxophonist in Kurtalan Ekspres and Barış Manço's orchestras. In addition to giving many lectures in the previous periods, I was also a guest of a program in TRT music. I played on many albums. Stage experience is very important to me. I teach all my students as if they are going to take the stage tomorrow.

About the lesson

Hello,
The common fear of all my beginner students is to learn basic music knowledge and notation. However, I would like to say that this part is the easiest and fastest part to get over. No need to fear!

First of all, after meeting in our first lesson, I look at the basic musical knowledge level of my student. If it's not enough, I create a program to improve it in a short time. I study my lessons in classroom discipline. Normally, I would not recommend to teach instrument lessons as a group, but it can be taught with students who grasp quickly and do not get distracted in the classroom environment.

Unfortunately, we are all used to teaching online during the pandemic process. Therefore, we can plan our lessons online, face-to-face or hybrid at the request of the student. The important thing is communication.

And remember that you are not just learning an instrument, you are learning a "common language" that you can speak anywhere in the world. If you have any questions, I'm open to all of them. Welcome!
