I don't believe there is a single way to teach a subject that will work optimally for every person. I think that teachers should be flexible, and willing to adapt to teaching things in a way that is appropriate for every individual. I'm hoping that together we can figure out which teaching method personally helps you out the most.
Understanding how an individual learns and becomes motivated will ensure that more information is retained for a longer period of time. Phrasing questions and explanations in a calm and clear manner without contributing to any additional stress to the individual.
I love teaching math and helping with their difficulty in math and other subjects like science such as chemistry. I love teaching people individually not as a group so that kids can benefit one on one so that no one will be left out and everyone will be free to ask questions.
Mainly focused in clarifying the doubts by closely interacting with the students. But I’ll cover all the topics along with it.
I use inquiry, discussion, problem-solving, project and some times play-way method to teach. I teach with my heart from simple to complex, known to unknown and concrete to abstract. My teaching is mostly student-centered with class interaction.
I am a really organized and reliable tutor, who will manage your time for studying and practicing efficiently. My goal is to use minimal time to gain more knowledge and best score. Also, I am excellent in math and science.
I would describe my teaching method as demonstrative. I would go through problems with students and show them how to solve it. Then I would test them on how well they understood by giving them similar problems to do.
I like to take a very personalized approach with my students. With some, we will work through practice problems that are relevant to the material they are learning in class, but with others, we work through any homework they have and then work through additional problems in areas that they are struggling with in that class.
I have a experience of teaching as TA for 3 year at York University. my main goal has always been to make my students interested in the subject as the first step. I usually try to help my students and walk them through the problems and also I will always give them enough time to think for themselves as well.
I teach with identifying the needs of students. Addressing the need based solution for students made me special as a tutor. I teach grade 4 to 10 math and science and Chemistry for the Grade 11 and 12. I am passionate to teach youths.
My teaching methods include a variety of steps. Firstly, I always judge the level of education student. Secondly, I will check what is the best way a student can grasp a knowledge, making sure that he/she can become intensive learner.
Talking about Teaching procedures, I strongly believe in keeping the class live by asking questions in between to students. I don't like to ask questions which are already given in book, I make sure they have imbibed the concept by offering the conceptional questions which are out of the book (but of same idea).
Because Math was no easy for me, I know how frustrating it can be.
When I teach, I try and get to know the student first, and how it is easiest for them to learn. From there, I can alter my methods to make it so that I teach topics in a way that is easiest for them to understand and learn. I spend as much time on one topic until students are able to complete problems on their own without any additional help so that they are confident in what they have learned.
i strongly believe in TRICKS in especially maths subjects that save times from the complex calculations. i always go for head to head teaching instead of group lecture. my teachings are based on understanding the theorems not only solving the particular problem but solving all the related problems by understanding and going deep down to the roots of the questions.
I would consider myself a compassionate and patient person who is willing to dedicate time into achieving quantifiable improvements in your understanding and marks. I take this very seriously, and expect the same in return. We are a team and I require you to put as much work into yourself as I do for you.
My class will directly based on students' program and homework. However, I will specialize different approach for each student if necessary.
I structure my lessons to fit every individual student based on their skill level and their academic standings. In addition, every student has a different time commitment they are able to give a discipline thus I provide individualized plans. Lastly, I always help students in making small notes for important things or things which they seem to forget easily.
My teaching methods are relating the material you learn in classes with things you may experience in the everyday world. I find it difficult for kids to learn subjects they can't relate to. Here's an example: Ionic compounds happen when a non-metal takes a metal's electron to become stable while molecular/covalent compounds happen when two or more non-metals share their electrons.
I have quite a bit of experience teaching - from young kids at ontario early years centres to young adults at university. In the first session I will get to know the student and figure out how they learn best (for example if they are a visual learner). I will then tailor all future sessions to the tutees needs. I will provide homework assignments and mock tests along the way.
Some of my interests in my career as a teacher are to reveal to my students the beauty of Math, Physics, and Chemistry, and to encourage them to discover the many bridges, and logical connections between these subjects.
I am very approachable when it comes to teaching. I always tend to repeat the lessons whenever a student gets a hard time understanding it. I give convenient or easier ways to remember concepts. I tend to be very generous with my students.
I have taught General Chemistry since 2013 at Virginia Tech. It has been a joyful experience to meet young and energetic students. I love to talk to students to understand their goal and problem and help them to have a vision for their future. For tutoring Chemistry, I usually guide student step by step, from basic definitions to advanced topics.
My teaching methodology is based on teaching conceptual knowledge of subject. My focus Is to develop interest in my subject by giving them right knowledge. I strengthen application and solving skills of students which help them to score expected grade. I am very strong in theoretical chemistry and use threee dimensional views of molecules to explain stereochemistry and mechanism.
My teaching methods are problem-solving, individual and group work. A typical class would start with the goal statement, a quick introduction to the topic and then individual work. I try to focus on making sure the students understand the material rather than memorize it. Thus, my methodology leans towards doing a lot of practice problems and group work for better understanding.
More than just teaching the theory I tend to focus more on concepts which have been hard for students to grasp easily.
I understand the learning style of the student during the 1st couple of classes and employ methods based on that. If the student is comfortable with activities, I employ activity-based learning. I the student is learning well with multi-media, I use it and so on.
It’s been proven that most children are kinaesthetic learners, so that’s my main approach. Although, I would search to find what type of learner the student(s) is/are and use that as much as possible. My other biggest trick to successful learning is just being on a comfortable level with the student(s).
I use explanation of methodologies . I use power point explanation techniques. I use videos for explanation. Another part of the class is examination refreshments . I prefer to teach School classes of preparatory and secondary. Also, I can give training courses for technician at industries.
My teaching methodology is learner centered, however it can be modified, according to the learners. I am open to questions and give simple and everyday life examples for clarification of concepts. The classes can be arranged both individually and groups for chemistry and biology at high school level.
