Teaching method changes with each student and their needs and requirements.
I teach in russian technique wich is the best to become a good pianist.Gradually you will be pro piano player.
Music is a universal way of connecting people and I believe there can be many interpretations of it. I base my lessons on individuals' needs, whether it be learning piano just for fun, or preparing for RCM exams. I believe the fundamentals of piano, such as Technique and Sight Reading are applicable to anyone playing the instrument, and are therefore incorporated in my teaching.
Class best suitable for beginners. Approach class with warmth and chill vibe. Students may choose what they want to learn. I design a personalized program for every single student according to his/her interests, knowledge, age and personal characteristics to keep him/her motivated to learn piano.
My training methods include a one-to-one class with the student which is very interactive. They will listen to me perform and try incorporate what they saw in to how they play. Beginner books are used for any beginners starting off.
My teaching methodology is to give them fun. Since they feel interesting, amused, then I let them practice anywhere. Practice, think what could be better and correct how they want. Nothing is wrong, every single person has different taste, different feeling.
Only the music score you have.
My method is simple. Taking advantage of all the methods and use them as a tool only, I design a personalized program for every single student according to his interests, knowledge, age and personal characteristics to keep him motivated to learn piano.
I usually stop my students when they make an obvious mistake, but in general I would summarize the mistakes at the end of a play through and play it with my interpretation. My classes are meant generally for low to medium level piano learners.
I will access the student on our first lesson and then I will as a teacher build a plan for the student to grow and develop best in their learning. I have different approaches for every student as every student is very individual so a right teacher method will result in the student's best learning ability.
My main goal is for the students to get an interest in piano through the interesting approach and from a small to a big achievement. Bringing excitement and fun to every lesson while maintaining a professional and productive learning environment is my passion. I also feel excited and rewarding especially when my young students sit in front of a piano and have so much fun playing it.
preparing students for RCM exams Also working with young children in a group setting I am trained in Russian school
Learn from a teacher! I have a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and over 30 years of experience teaching Music in Schools and Private Lessons. Each lesson focuses on the student...their abilities and their goals.
I adjust my teaching to the skills of my student and teach at their level but will still be strict enough to push them to practice and progress. With this method, I hope to help students improve their piano skills while also gradually build passion for the piano.
Piano/Theory Teacher living in vancouver, BC with 15 years experience. Bachelor of Music in piano from the Chinese Culture University, Taipei Taiwan. Classic piano and pop music, music reading and theory. On on one class. English/Mandarin speaking.
It is important to let the student to enjoy while playing music. I usually would asked for student opinion for what they wanted to play. And from that as a starting point, I'd also suggest other music to broad out the student's view on music. I also provide some historical background on the piece, so the student would understand the piece more.
I base my classes on practical practice and materials which the student is interested in.
I aim to teach my students independent music learning that will enable them to read new music pieces with ease, transcribe their favorite songs, and play accompaniment.
From my 15 years experience as a Piano Teacher, I find that tailoring teaching methods according to the student's needs, personality, and learning styles is crucial. There is no such thing as a 1-size-fits-all when it comes to something as important as education.
I like to teach students who are already very familiar with the basics and intermediates of piano, and have potential and musicality as an innate ability. I am passionate with my teaching and create an atmosphere of intensity during lessons. Extremely flexible to how a student learns or takes in information, however, the student needs to be good at retaining information as well.
My teaching methods are base on students centered curriculum and step by step approach. Effective teaching methods that suits students.
I mostly base my teaching on the RCM system with the assistance of the Hal- Leonard method. At the same time, considering each student is different, I may include other materials to fit the students’ needs.
I teach according to the student. I can teach the RCM curriculum, pop, jazz, improvisation, and worship. I specialize in teaching children ages 5 - 12, but have taught students of various ages, levels (up to RCM level 10), and backgrounds.
If the student has music they wish to work on I prefer to work on that. Otherwise, I will teach them classical, jazz, and pop songs. I will teach them theory and scale and chord patterns alongside the songs to give context for their use.
The schedule of lessons depends on the goal and the level of the student. Usually, the beginning of the class will be focused on technique. This will allow the students to warm up before playing their repertoires. If students have the ability, they will be given an opportunity to perform at a recital, prior to their goal.
As a teacher I have learned to practice patience with my students, and learned how to work with each individuals strengths and weaknesses to help them progress in the best way possible. I like to promote a professional, focussed atmosphere so my students make the most of the time and money put in to their private education.
