Shenger has been my piano teacher since this spring, with weekly lessons. I came in as an adult beginner who had not touched a piano since kindergarten, and within a few months I was learning a new RCM level one piece almost every week.
Lessons are structured but never rigid: Shenger watches exactly where my hands and ears are stuck, fixes that one thing, and sends me home with practice I can actually do.
The best evidence I can give is that daily practice went from something I forced to a part of my morning I look forward to. I recommend Shenger without hesitation to any adult who thinks it might be too late to start.

Shenger is an excellent teacher who always demonstrates professionalism and patience, which in my opinion, are some of the most important aspects a piano teacher should possess. Her explanations are clear and simple to understand, allowing me to dramatically improve my piano skills and progress swiftly through RCM. I started with her a few years ago and now I am at RCM Level 9. Right now I am progressing towards Level 10, which is one of my lifetime goals. I highly recommend Shenger!

I got lessons from Shenger for three months and I went from not knowing anything to being able to learn songs by myself, thanks to all the skills she taught me and her excellent character. I totally recommend her because she is patient and awesome. She really showed me some very essential skills on piano and diligently helped me with my fingering as well as evenness in Rhythm. I can now play all sorts of scales, exercises and songs. She is chill and receptive, and I also like how my lessons where structured. We started with exercises and then moved on to the more interesting part like learning songs.

As a long time student of Shenger, I can confirm that she is a passionate and patient piano teacher. She teaches professionally while maining a fun and supportive environment in her lessons. I started my lessons with Shenger since the beginning of my piano journey and now I'm taking my RCM level 8 practical exam.

Shenger is a very patient piano teacher with excellent technique. She holds an RCM ARCT certificate and an RCM piano pedagogy certificate. She is friendly, sympathetic, and incredibly passionate about classical music. She has a wide-ranging performance in repertoire and she excels in sight reading. Along with establishing a high level technique in piano, Shenger has also developed proficiency in the violin and is a regular member of the senior orchestra of Eric Hamber Secondary School. Shenger takes special pride in pursuing her musical activities at the same time as she maintains a straight A average in her school coursework.

I have known Shenger for quite some time now and I have watched her grow and dedicate herself to her passion of becoming a pianist with admiration. Shenger has always been interested in teaching and her love for playing the piano has only been surpassed by her desire to teach others.
I always knew that the natural progression for Shenger was to master the piano while teaching others while on her journey.
Shenger will inspire everyone she teaches with the energy and dedication she exhibits everyday.

Shenger is an amazing piano teacher. Not only is she super talented and professional with her piano skills, but she is also super kind and patient. Shenger is a hard-working, compassionate, and dedicated teacher. In only a few days she taught me the fundamentals of music and got me started on a song. Oh my god! There are so many things to say about Shenger. First of all, we have been very close friends for over 3 years now and Shenger's piano journey has always been one of my interests! She is always practicing, improving, working hard, and seeking out feedback to be both a better piano player and teacher! Her dedication and the amount of time and energy she devotes to practicing and teaching piano is endless (and trust me I'm saying this honestly). Her diligence has made her noticeable in the eyes of many of our teachers as well. For example, our music teacher asked Shenger to be the piano player for the advanced choir class which shows how talented she is! My parents also admire Shenger a lot and are quite shocked by how high her piano level is and the amount of effort she dedicates to music! It’s pretty impressive, isn’t it?
Aside from her profound piano skills, her personality is quite charming as well. Walking to school with her every day and having many classes with her, I got to know a lot more about her. Shenger is a SUPER KIND AND COMPASSIONATE GIRL. She cares about her peers’ well-being and is always willing to help them; and I’m sure she is like that to her students as well. She is very calm and patient too which is something I appreciate a lot. She is also polite, supportive, understanding, empathetic, mature, and very good with kids. SHE LOVES CHILDREN and let me tell you, little children like her a lot too! She has both the skills and suitable personality for a piano teacher.
Shenger is a hardworking person and literally has worked SO HARD to get to this position. She knows it herself, I always wish her luck and pray for her for every single exam that she has. And let me tell you, she went through a lot and has many more coming up! As her closest friend, I recommend that you choose her as your piano teacher and trust me, you will not regret it!
