About Hyekyeong

Hello, my future students:) I am a native Korean speaker from Seoul, Korea. I have been in London for 5 years for university and currently working in London. It would be really grateful for helping you to improve your Korean with me.

About the lesson

First, we will have a little level check for the first lesson. I prepare tailor-made sources for each student's level. After every class, I write a review note and vocabulary list summarising the expressions you have learnt during the lessons, so that you can study yourselves by looking through the notes in your free time:) #Beginner -Korean letters -Basic words for greeting, introducing and emotional expression -Number -General conversation -Korean culture +@ #Intermediate -Words for advanced expression -General conversation -Advanced conversation based on different topics -Korean culture +@ #Travel Conversation #Reading / Writing / Speaking

Perfect! Hyekyeong is so lovely and very helpful. She is a native speaker who not only has expertise in teaching Korean but also very able to share knowledge on Korean culture too. She prepares personalised study materials by herself and always ask what you would like to study, and she is also flexible with her time for when you are available to learn.

Perfect! Hyekyeong is really helpful, kind and encouraging. I am really enjoying my sessions with her and she has been very accommodating when I had to change a session with short notice or when I have internet problems. I look forward to continuing to learn with her.

Gemma is able to read Korean letters and she is confident introducing her selves. She understands the Korean sentence structure well through dialogue sentences suitable for each situation. She understands the Korean numeral methods well and can apply naturally to various sentences. I think her Korean skills will steadily improve if she memorises new expressions and words by looking through the review notes provided after classes.
