About Nicolle

I am a third year Japanese and Social Anthropology student in London. I am aware Japanese can be a difficult language to learn so I am very patient and understanding. I’m not super formal in my approach, I love to learn and practice speaking in a casual manner so as not to put too much pressure on anyone aspiring to learn.

About the lesson

I am currently studying Japanese at university, so my ideal student would be a beginner looking to learn or improve Japanese vocabulary, grammar, kana and Kanji. I would also be available for anyone looking for speaking practice and to engage in casual Japanese conversation.

I approach my lessons in very casual but informative way, I love to incorporate songs and animations into learning, learning a new language can be intimidating but I love to make it fun! In order to aid teaching I will be using the textbooks みんなの日本語(minna no nihongo) and Genki 1.

Perfect! Nicolle is super approachable, friendly, encouraging and flexible. She makes learning fun and I've really enjoyed out lessons so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone just starting out with Japanese!
