About Sara

Drama is a subject I have found comfort in as a way of escape. As a person who strives for perfection in academics, at first I found it difficult to not have an objective goal in drama. That is now why I love drama. The freedom that having no set way of achieving the goals for a subject meant experimenting and making mistakes was encouraged. I hope to help other students feel the same about drama. And even if you’re not as passionate about drama, I can help you achieve a good grade that you can be proud of.

About the lesson

Acting is something that’s helped me gain confidence in myself and having a good acting teacher impacted the growth of not only my skill but my passion. I believe that finding material you are passionate about and you understand, greatly helps in the ability to fulfil the pieces intention. If you are not sure on the context or emotions of the piece I will be able to research the piece myself and can help with understanding the piece before we get into performing it. I can provide helpful insight into which pieces would best suit you based on not just acting ability but characters you might resonate with. I’ve always found the writing aspects of drama GCSE and A-Level challenging, however from experience I’ve found multiple helpful methods which have worked for myself and could help you as well.
