About Orla

I am an Oxford English student with an A* in English Literature A Level from Westminster school. Having recently done GCSEs and A Levels, I know all the exam techniques inside out, and understand the struggles you might have with the syllabus. I genuinely love English, and am particularly interested in poetry and drama. I really look forward to going into detail on your set texts - and any other texts you want to discuss!

About the lesson

I improve my students' grades by ensuring that my students can analyse and interpret their texts well and employ the techniques needed to score highly in exams. I tailor tutorials closely to their individual needs to make sure they can translate their ideas into high-scoring exam scripts.

Perfect! Orla is a highly intelligent, articulate and extremely thoughtful person. She approaches tutoring from an entirely individual perspective and is willing to go the extra mile(s) in terms of sourcing material or devising an approach that gets the best out of your child. Our interactions with Orla have been overwhelmingly positive. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a bespoke, caring and effective tutor for their child.

Details

I charge £60 because I worked hard to get into Westminster (16+) and Oxford and am therefore very knowledgable about Oxbridge applications and how to achieve the best A Level and GCSE grades.
