About Andrew

I have 20 years experience of mathematics teaching in the independent sector specialising in IGCSE, GCSE, A-level and IB.
I am also an examiner for Edexcel in A level Mathematics as well as aid pupils with preparing for entrance exams into public schools. I have a Masters from Oxford University in Learning and Teaching which helps aid my understanding of the latest teaching practices.

About the lesson

My method is to make sure that pupils feel confident in asking questions about the material. I aim to challenge pupils to spark mathematical dialogue which helps the pupils think about the problems they are trying to solve. Asking why a pupil they have approached a question is important as well as giving them freedom to think creatively.
