I would like to help the student identify, box and group similar ideas whilst allowing a comprehensive and embedded understanding of the overall picture and how all groups & ideas interact with each other.
We will come to understand both the micro and macro-scales.
Think of it as a large Google Maps with cities and intersecting highways. The student, in their mind, should be able to ‘zoom in and out’ of all topics whilst never forgetting the larger picture.
The tatic will include 2 parts:
1) Identify (student’s difficulties, etc.)
2) Target (Create goals, and achieve them)
I believe immersive and interactive is crucial in helping with memorisation and crystalising knowledge.
I will make sure your understanding is in-depth, so you may begin to recall the material as quickly as you can recall your last name.
I have been studying for years now and have had many different professors - there are some techniques that are better than others, and I have learnt to utilise them for teaching and for learning.
